I have been working as a real estate agent in the Beşiktaş region, based in Gayrettepe, for 4 years.
As of November 2023, my entire focus is on real estate areas across Beşiktaş that I can offer to foreign markets.
Therefore, the new building residences and offices in the Gayrettepe region are also in my area of interest.
The number of new buildings in the Gayrettepe region is around 12 and most of them are in the residential category.
With the opening of Gayrettepe Göktürk Istanbul Airport metro station, the attractiveness of Gayrettepe increased. In my opinion, the value of the region throughout Istanbul will increase even more in the coming period.
The purchasing power of people living in the Gayrettepe region is (considerably) above the Istanbul average.
Under normal circumstances, real estate offered for sale in a new building in Gayrettepe is sold quickly. The price level becomes of secondary importance.
However, as of the second half of 2023, the number of new building flats for sale in Gayrettepe is noticeably weaker.
In my opinion, after the upcoming local elections, there will be flexibility in interest rates and limits towards the summer, and this will accelerate the demand for housing.
Then, I predict that the new building flats in Gayrettepe will go on sale quickly.
