I have been working as a real estate agent in Gayrettepe-based Beşiktaş region for four years.
For the last 5 months, I started to focus all my time only on upper segment real estate.
New building flats and residences are also among my important areas of work.
The number of new building residences in the Gayrettepe region is extremely low.
In the Gayrettepe region, where Beşiktaş is located, almost all of the buildings have the status of old buildings.
Until this time, if a flat for sale in a new building appeared, especially in Yıldız Posta cd, Vefabey sk, Süleymanbey sk, Cemil Aslan Güder sk areas, it would be sold in a process that would not take long.
Since the period when interest rates started to increase, the demand for such flats has dropped considerably, which I would never have expected.
The purchasing power of the people who will live in the new building in the Gayrettepe region is quite high.
I do not think that the financing problem is a reason for the weak demand for new building flats.
In my opinion, people are waiting because of financial gain.
I also think that the time spent and the quality of life also have an alternative cost.
I think that living in a centrally located new building, in an apartment with indoor parking, will make a noticeable contribution to one's quality of life.
And of course, there is also the expected earthquake threat.
In my opinion, people who are considering living in the new building sooner or later should take action.
There is no compensation for the time spent...
