Is There a Return to Old Buildings?

When I look at the phone calls I have received for about a month and what I have heard in the conversations of tradesmen in Gayrettepe, it seems that people are turning to old buildings for flats for sale, albeit in a low dose.
I started to get more and more rumors about a 3+1 flat for sale in an old building in the 7-8 million TL range.
New building flats for sale in a central location in Gayrettepe have been advertised for a long time, this would not have happened in the past.
I understand that, although for different reasons, old buildings have started to become an option again in Beşiktaş and Gayrettepe to buy a flat.
Meanwhile, the demand for rental housing is quite strong with the closure of schools. I don't think the only reason is the closure of schools and preparations for the new year.
I remember last year the demand for rental housing was not this strong...
